About RSPCB: The Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board is a body corporate constituted under section 4 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974. It was first constituted on 7th February 1975, with the objectives of prevention, and control of water pollution and maintaining or restoring of wholesomeness of water. Later, it was also entrusted with the responsibilities of prevention, control, and abatement of Air Pollution under the provisions of the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. Under this act, the State Board has been given powers to collect Cess on the basis of water consumed by the industries, etc.

Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board Jobs Educational Qualification:
Junior Scientific Officer:
Master’s Degree in any branch of chemistry or Soil Science or Environmental Science or Microbiology from the university.
Junior Environmental Engineer:
Master degree in Environmental Engineering after bachelor’s degree either in Bio-Technology or chemical or civil or Mining or Environmental or Textile Engineering from the university. (OR)
First-class Bachelor’s Degree in any of the above branches of Engineering from a university.
Note: working Knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri scripts and knowledge of Rajasthan culture.
RSPCB Recruitment 2021 Selection Process:
The selection process will be based on written test and interview.
For Jr. Scientific Officer
Part-A examination comprises of Environmental General knowledge, Environmental Impact Assessment/ Environmental Legislations in India, Water/Waste Water Industrial Waste Water Analysis, Air and Noise Pollution and Municipal Solid, Biomedical, e-waste, plastic waste, and Hazardous Solid Waste.
The part-B examination comprises of General Knowledge (with special reference to history, art, culture, traditions, literature, heritage, and geography of Rajasthan, Mathematics, reasoning current affairs)
There will be one paper consisting of two parts having multiple choice type questions’ There will be total 150 numbers of questions of 3 marks each. The question paper will be only in English
Each question will carry 3 marks. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer
For Jr. Environmental Engineer,
Part-A examination comprises of Environmental General knowledge, Environmental Impact Assessment/ Environmental Legislations in India, Water/Waste Water Industrial Waste Water Analysis, Air and Noise, Environmental Impact Assessment/ Environmental Legislations in India, Municipal Solid, Biomedical, e-waste, plastic waste, and Hazardous Solid Waste.
